Professional poker player, Sean Perry won the High Roller $25,000 hold ’em lodivip tournament at the Venetian last week and took home a $365,500 prize. The other two High Roller events were won by Ali Imsirovic, and Shawn Daniels, who took home $200,200 and $175,500 respectively.
Sean Perry Wins Venetian High Roller $25,000 Hold’em Tournament
The 23-year-old poker pro, Sean Perry went home with a hefty prize of $365,500 after winning the 2021 Venetian High Roller $25,000 hold’em tournament. The tournament was a part of a three-day High Roller PokerGO Tour tournament that took place last week at the Venetian.
To win the hefty prize, Perry proved to be the best out of 43 other poker players. The prize adds up nicely to his $2.6 million which he has accumulated from poker throughout his career. With that in mind, so far this year, Perry has won $1,693,618 from multiple tournaments.
Ali Imsirovic and Shawn Daniels Secure Big Prizes
In the first High Roller tournament that was played on Thursday last week, another poker pro went home with a significant prize. Ali Imsirovic, a poker star from Bosna proved to be the best out of 77 other poker players. As a result, he won the first High Roller tournament and took home a $200,200 prize.
The game was thrilling until the very last hand, considering the participation of Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Shawn Daniels, and more famous poker players. With that in mind, the poker legend Negreanu was eliminated by Imsirovic and took 12th place, just outside the prize circle.
At the final table action, it was Imsirovic against Daniels. Although Daniels had the chip lead, in the end, his king-five did not hold against Imsirovic’s two sevens. Consequently, Daniels ranked second in the first High Roller event, taking home $146,300.
Although Daniels was a shot away from winning the first High Roller tournament on Thursday, he proved to be the best during the second event which was played on Friday. Daniels proved to be the best out of 65 other poker players and ranked first taking home a $175,500 prize. Combined, out of the two tournaments, he took home a total of $321,800.
